Escape to Lush Guatemala + Spa Package Special
A short drive away from the magnificent ruins of Tikal, Uaxactún and Yaxhá in Northern Guatemala, Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel is spread across more than 300 acres of lush, private reserve in the heart of Guatemala’s Petén jungle.
The property offers the perfect blend of luxury and eco-tourism, with 19 spacious overwater bungalows, the in-house Shultún restaurant, and a half-moon-shaped swimming pool that overlooks the Quexil Lagoon.
And now, it has announced the opening of a new full-service spa facility, reinforcing its positioning as a luxury destination for wellness.
Las Lagunas’ new 5,400 sq. ft. spa is located just steps away from the main building, providing guests with the utmost privacy amidst the surrounding foliage of the jungle. The spa features a welcoming reception area, beauty salon, steam room, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and three treatment rooms – creating an oasis for restoring the mind, body, and soul, after a day of exploring the bucket list ruins of Tikal, Uaxactún, and Yaxhá.
Offering signature treatments that reflect the healing traditions of the Mayan culture, the spa’s menu includes a Mayan Hot Stone Massage incorporating local green Jade gemstones, which aid in detoxification by strengthening the body’s filtration and cleansing systems.
Hiking Feet, another unique treatment designed for men, includes a full body massage that focuses heavily on legs and feet to relieve tension in the lower body following any hiking or trekking activities. This experience is followed by a pedicure and includes full use of the facility.
Special Grand Opening Package
To celebrate the opening of the new spa, Las Lagunas launched a “Born to be Well” package for guests of the hotel, which includes accommodations for two, welcome drinks, daily breakfast, a guided hiking tour to Tikal, daily spa treatment per person, and more.
Valid through December 23, 2017 (blackout days apply), the package starts at $1325 USD for two nights. Guests can book online at laslagunashotel.com, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
