Since Mallorca (Majorca) was added to the UK’s green travel list, thousands have rushed to book a much-needed wellness travel getaway.

The health and wellbeing specialists over at Eden’s Gate looked into the most Instagrammable hotels in Mallorca, based on likes and top posts.

Cap Rocat

From its fabulous battlement-topped entrance to its stunning sea-view terraces, there’s little about this 19th-century fortress that doesn’t merit a snap.

Enclosed by ramparts and turrets, the Cap Rocat Hotel also makes for more interesting backdrops than most, and its west-facing cliff-top setting guarantees some spectacular sunsets.

For a real treat and Instagram gold, splash out for one of the Sentinal suites, hewn from the rock into a secluded enclave with private infinity-edge pools overlooking the water.

Belmond La Residencia

One of the best-known and most luxurious hotels on the island, the Belmond La Residencia also features a superlatively picturesque setting perfect for a #nofilter photo-post.

Pretty lemon groves, two gorgeous outdoor pools, and private plunge pools make for superb backdrops, while art lovers can also take a selfie next to one of the numerous Joan Miró paintings scattered throughout the property.

Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel And Spa

Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel and Spa is located on Mallorca’s northwest coast offering stunning sea and mountain views. With 3 restaurants serving Mediterranean dishes, Spanish tapas and a sushi lounge you will be spoilt for choice.

As well as 2 poolside bars there is an impressive infinity pool and a spa to unwind. This modern hotel starts at £703 per night in July, with the main town of Palma only a 25-minute drive, and the airport 35 minutes away. A perfect getaway for a relaxing weekend.

Gran Melia De Mar

Situated on the seafront in Illetas, Hotel de Mar Gran Meliá is set within beautiful gardens and features a small exclusive beach.

This stylish hotel features 3 swimming pools, a sun terrace and an extensive spa. With 4 restaurants serving traditional Mallorcan cuisines and a large range of continental breakfast options, there is something for everyone’s taste with rooms starting from £457 per night.

Here at Eden’s Gate we are all about relieving stress and anxiety, and after the year we have had, we think a holiday is an answer to many people’s problems. However, choosing a safe destination is paramount. Mallorca is currently on the Green list, meaning you can go and have the most relaxing holiday possible, with ease of access to covid-safe outdoor restaurants, flight prices that won’t break the bank, and plenty of sunshine!
