Know a stout from a sour? How about Dark Matter from Electric Unicorn? Thirsty for more?

Then celebrate BC Craft Beer Month with a Victoria brewery adventure and embrace the artisan brewing community that is flourishing on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

Enjoy an overnight stay at the Magnolia Hotel & Spa, located moments from the Inner Harbour and within walking distance of a dozen craft breweries that call Victoria home. With just 64 guest rooms, the Magnolia Hotel & Spa’s boutique nature has adapted well to travel during the pandemic. Stringent COVID-19 policies keep guests and staff safe in all areas of the hotel

The hotel’s BC Craft Beer package includes a themed Curated Trail map of the city’s best craft breweries for guests to sip, savour and explore at their own speed.

From the legendary Phillips Brewing & Malting Co., which has created both iconic beers and branding since its inception in 2001 in partnership with local artist Shawn O’Keefe, to Belgian-style wild ales and sour beers produced by Île Sauvage Brewing, Victoria’s affection for quality craft brewing took root in 1858 when Victoria Brewing was founded by William Steinberger, fresh from the Fraser Canyon Gold Rush.

The Victoria craft brew community continues to grow with new spots being welcomed onto the scene such as Herald Street Brew Works, which opened late last year.

The Magnolia Hotel & Spa’s Craft Brewing package runs until October 31st, 2021 and includes an overnight stay in an elegant guest room, continental breakfast, a copy of the Victoria Brewery Trail and a $25 credit to spend at The Courtney Room, located in the hotel’s lobby.

Rates start at $225 per night. The Courtney Room is proud to serve a rotating seasonal selection of British Columbia beers including Driftwood Brewery (Victoria), Land & Sea Brewing Company (Comox) and Superflux Beer Company (Vancouver).
